Dear Brownsville Wellness Coalition (BWC) Friends,   
This year's Farm to Table Dinner marks the **7th dinner hosted by the Brownsville Wellness Coalition (BWC)**. The 2026 event will come full circle and return to **Market Square**, where it all began.  
  
Market Square is one of the most historic sites in the City of Brownsville. At one time, it served as a central hub, featuring a farmers' market and a fire station. It was a popular destination for Sunday strolls, where people would meet friends and neighbors, as well as shop for groceries for their families.

This year, the Brownsville Farmers' Market will be relocating to the Cannery in the Mitte Cultural District. The Cannery is a historic site that is currently being renovated into a modern food hub. The restoration of the Cannery building has been carried out with great care and thoughtfulness, in partnership with the Brownsville Farmers' Market and the Food Bank. The hub will feature cooking demonstrations by the Happy Kitchen and commercial kitchen spaces for emerging food entrepreneurs, creating an environment rich in nutrition, education, and economic opportunities.  
  
The Brownsville Wellness Coalition needs your help to continue producing the Farmers' Market, introducing families to gardening, providing produce for sale at the Farmers' Market, and teaching how to prepare produce, herbs, and fruit. Together, these programs improve health and reduce food insecurity across the area.
